About NOVA

- NOVA School is located in central Olympia.
- NOVA serves approximately 100 students. We serve the typical middle school grades of 6th, 7th and 8th grade.
- NOVA Students are selected to be functioning in the top 10% academically.
- Students come from over 20 elementary schools, both public and private, from all over Thurston County, and a few travel from Mason, Lewis, Pierce, and Grays Harbor Counties.
- Most NOVA students go back to local public high schools in the Olympia area and surrounding community.
- Our average class size is 18.
- School hours are 8:00AM – 2:35 PM.
- There is no transportation provided by the school. Most students arrive in carpools organized by the parents.
- NOVA awards more that $100,000 in financial aid annually and approximately 20% of our student population receive significant aid.

- NOVA School is a fully accredited member of the Pacific Northwest Association of Independent Schools.
- Each family works a minimum of 30 hours of school service a year.
