Grand-Friends Day is an annual tradition at NOVA. Each year, our students have the opportunity to share part of their school day with important people in their lives from a generation with a different perspective. Whether guests are grandparents, aunts and uncles, family friends, or a dear neighbor, it's an opportunity to highlight such NOVA core values as connection and joy.
This year, for the very first time, Grand-Friends Day will be a completely virtual event. Although we wish that we could host grandparents and special friends as we typically do, the upside is that distant relatives won’t need to travel to Olympia to spend time with their favorite students!
As in past years, there will be musical performances, speeches from students, and a chance for guests to experience some of the learning that makes NOVA distinctive.
