Community Education Series

Join us as we connect, learn, and grow together.

We believe that we all serve young people best when we share resources and gather to discuss ideas.

We are very excited to partner with ParentEd Talks to provide seven informative topics to our community during the 2025-26 school year.

All of the virtual events are FREE to the NOVA Community with a discount code and open to everyone for a small fee of $10 per event.

At these events, you will:

  • Learn. Our guest speakers will help you gain knowledge and become more aware of the issues and challenges facing young people.
  • Find support. Each event is an opportunity to enlarge your circle and gather wisdom from one another.
  • Connect with the young people in your life. These events will feature practical knowledge that will help you engage more fully with your child or other young adolescents in your life.

Registration links for each event become available a few weeks ahead of the event. (They are $10 for each talk, or free for the NOVA community with the discount code.)

Land Acknowledgement

NOVA is located on the ancestral lands of the Steh-Chass band of the Squaxin Island Tribe and Nisqually Indian Tribe, who have long been stewards of the region’s waters, plants, and animals. The southernmost point of the Salish Sea, these lands were—and still are—a place of gathering, trade, and community for many Coast Salish peoples. We recognize that all who are not Salish peoples are visitors here. We commit to join these peoples to share their history, build relationships, increase representation, and restore the living world around us.
