Annual Celebration

What is it?

The Big Bash! is NOVA’s annual community celebration — a relaxed, fun night for adults to come together, enjoy great food and drinks, and spend time with other NOVA families, board members, staff, and supporters.

It's a chance to connect outside the school day, meet new faces, catch up with familiar ones, and celebrate what makes NOVA such a special place.

Here's the easiest way to think about it—

This is:

✅ A fun, social night out for 21+ adults

✅ Food, drinks, and conversation

✅ Time to connect with the NOVA community

This is NOT:

❌ A formal gala

❌ A fundraiser

❌ An auction or sales pitch

What to Expect

NEON is our keyword this year. Think all things glowy and sparkly!

It's come-as-you-are. But, if you want to get in on the theme, break out those bright colors!

We will have—

  • Nosh and desserts
  • Beer and wine
  • Pass-the-microphone toasts
  • Music that gets you be-bopping in your seat!

Tickets

This year, we made a choice that really matters to us.

We lowered ticket prices and chose not to make The Big Bash! a fundraiser. We wanted this night to be about access, belonging, and joy—not pressure or giving at the door.

Tickets are only $25 each!

Your ticket includes:

  • Entry to the event
  • Yummy catered food
  • Two drink tickets
  • A neon night to remember!

Land Acknowledgement

NOVA is located on the ancestral lands of the Steh-Chass band of the Squaxin Island Tribe and Nisqually Indian Tribe, who have long been stewards of the region’s waters, plants, and animals. The southernmost point of the Salish Sea, these lands were—and still are—a place of gathering, trade, and community for many Coast Salish peoples. We recognize that all who are not Salish peoples are visitors here. We commit to join these peoples to share their history, build relationships, increase representation, and restore the living world around us.
