The process starts with learning about NOVA. Familes are encouraged to attend an Open House, which provides an opportunity to learn more detail about NOVA Middle School, its programs, and the admissions process.

Application and all supporting materials must be on file.

Visit:

Schedule a half-day visit for your child to attend morning classes with a student guide, Monday through Thursday. Parents are also welcome to observe classes. Contact Admissions Director Julie Hankins at admissions@novaschool.org to schedule a visit.

Apply:

  1. Complete the online Application for Admission.
  2. Complete the online New Family Registration.
  3. Download, print, and complete the Admissions Packet (or pick it up at an Open House). This includes documents to be completed by the parent(s), by the student, and by the student's current school and teacher. Submit completed packet, in person or by mail, with a $75 non-refundable application fee. Your child's current school and teacher will submit their forms directly to NOVA.
  4. Reserve an admissions testing spot by contacting Julie Hankins at (360) 491-7097 or admissions@novaschool.org. Admissions tests take approximately two and a half hours and are scheduled for: 
    • Wed, January 15, 8:30 a.m.
    • Wed. January 22, 8:30 a.m.
    • Wed. January 29, 8:30 a.m.
    • Sat. February 1, 9 a.m.–12 p.m.
    • Wed. February 5, 1 p.m.
    • Wed. February 12, 1 p.m.

If your child is unable to attend any of these testing times, please contact us to make other arrangements.

Applying for financial aid is a separate process. Please visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page for information and to apply for financial aid via the FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) online service. Please note that most financial aid will be allocated by April 1, after which there will be limited funds available.
