How to Apply

THREE STEPS TO NOVA ADMISSIONS:

Explore:

The process starts with learning about NOVA. Familes are encouraged to view our teacher videos and then attend a Virtual Open House. These will provide more detail about NOVA Middle School, our programs, and the admissions process.

Visit:

Schedule a Zoom visit for your child to attend morning classes with a student guide. These visits can take place on Thursdays or Fridays of each week. On Thursdays, your child will tour science, math, and language arts classes; on Fridays, they will sit in on science, geography, and language art classes. Immediately after these classes, your child and their guides will spend time with other students and teachers who will share their experience of NOVA and answer any questions. Parents are also welcome to observe classes.  Contact Admissions Director Julie Hankins at admissions@novaschool.org to schedule a visit.

Apply:

  1. Complete the online Application for Admission.
  2. Complete the online New Family Registration.
  3. Download, print, and complete the Admissions Packet. This includes documents to be completed by the parent(s), by the student, and by the student's current school and teacher. Submit completed packet, in person or by mail, with a $75 non-refundable application fee. (Click here to pay the fee online with a credit card.) Your child's current school and teacher will submit their forms directly to NOVA.
  4. Reserve an online admissions testing spot. Admissions tests take approximately two and a half hours.

Applying for financial aid is a separate process. Please visit our Tuition and Financial Aid page for information and to apply for financial aid via the FAST (Financial Aid for School Tuition) online service. Please note that most financial aid will be allocated by April 1, after which there will be limited funds available.
