Community Education Series

Join us as we connect, learn, and grow together.

Each trimester, NOVA Middle School hosts a community talk by an expert in the fields of parenting and highly capable/gifted education.

These events are FREE and open to everyone. We believe that we all serve young people best when we share resources and gather to discuss ideas.

If you’re the parent or caregiver of an elementary school student or middle schooler, these events are designed to help you prepare for and navigate the complexities of the middle school years. We also welcome people who work with young adolescents, such as mental health counselors, educators, and medical professionals.

At these events, you will:

  • Learn. Our guest speakers will help you gain knowledge and become more aware of the issues and challenges facing young people.
  • Find support. Each event is an opportunity to enlarge your circle and gather wisdom from one another.
  • Connect with the young people in your life. These events will feature practical knowledge that will help you engage more fully with your child or other young adolescents in your life.

Are you a teacher?

Get two clock hours for attending each event. Simply register for the event below and make sure to tick the box for 'Yes, I am a teacher and would to receive 2 Clock Hours for this presentation'. We will follow up with you and take care of the rest. Email us with any questions at all.

Check out the calendar of events below for the 2023-24 school year. RSVP details inside each event!
