8th Grade Trip to Lopez Island

June 1-3

Details:

    Monday, June 1: Arrive at NOVA by 7:30 am to load gear. Depart promptly at 8.
  • First Student Charter Bus will transport students to the Anacortes Ferry Terminal where students will then depart for Lopez Island on the 11:55 am ferry.
  • Upon arrival at Lopez Island, students will ride their bikes to the Spencer Spit Campground.
  • There will be one vehicle to attend to bike issues, accidents or other issues.
  • Students will ride their bikes back to the Ferry on June 3 leaving Lopez Island at 1:25 p.m.
  • We expect to return to NOVA around 5:00 pm on Wednesday, June 3. ETA updates will be sent through TeacherEase.

NOVA is located on the ancestral lands of the Steh-Chass band of the Squaxin Island Tribe and Nisqually Indian Tribe, who have long been stewards of the region’s waters, plants, and animals.
