The schedule for the tour is as follows—

Arrive at school at the normal time.

8:35-9:00 Meet in the Trow. Mr. Underwood goes over the schedule and expectations for the day on the campus.

9:00: Load the vans and head for the campus. Get there and find our guide.

12:30 Back on the vans, take roll, head back to NOVA.

*NOTE: Students are to bring a bag lunch as they build into the schedule a half hour for lunch in their lunch area. All food we bring must be put there and kept there, even water bottles. No food or liquid is allowed anywhere else on the tour. Be sure to write names on each bag lunch.

Land Acknowledgement

NOVA is located on the ancestral lands of the Steh-Chass band of the Squaxin Island Tribe and Nisqually Indian Tribe, who have long been stewards of the region’s waters, plants, and animals. The southernmost point of the Salish Sea, these lands were—and still are—a place of gathering, trade, and community for many Coast Salish peoples. We recognize that all who are not Salish peoples are visitors here. We commit to join these peoples to share their history, build relationships, increase representation, and restore the living world around us.
